These products are mostly designed for the dairy industry. | Ideal Machinery is located in Wickham, a village in the center of Québec, 15 kilometers from Drummondville. Wickham is more or less an hour drive from Montréal and Sherbrooke.
Located approximately 100 kilometers from the State of New York, the factory is linked to the road, marine and rail transportation networks of North America. |

1946 - Establishment of the Ideal Machinery Company Ltd., one of the first agricultural equipment manufacturers in Québec . 1948 - Invention of the first automatic barn cleaner in Canada. 1971 - Establishment of the WIC Inc. company in Wickham. 1972 - Invention and commercialization of the first bedding-chopper by WIC. 1977 - Commercialization of the WIC liquid manure spreaders. 1985 - Invention and commercialization of the first round bale unroller by WIC. 1988 - Commercialization of the feeding robot with WIC-200 computer. 1991 - Design and commercialization of the WIC distributing boom and toolbar for postemergent crops. 1993 - Acquisition of WIC Inc. by the management of Ideal Machinery Company Ltd. and establishment of the WIC•IDEAL GROUP. WIC Inc. becomes WIC (1993) Inc. 1994 - Design and commercialization of the QWICFEED computerized feeding systems. 2003 - Restructuration of both companies and concentration of operations on popular products (abandon of WIC spreaders and pumps as well as a few feeding equipments). 2006 - Incorporation of Ideal Machinery Company Ltd. and WIC (1993) Inc. under the name IDEAL MACHINERY INC. 2007 - Grouping and optimization of all operations on the Wickham site. |
