| The heart of IDEAL "Heavy-Duty" chutes is a solid steel frame structure, well ventilated in order to limit corrosion. To assure proper support for trouble-free gutters, 2" x 2" (5 x 5 cm) cross bracing angles are welded under the frame. |  |

The IDEAL transmission is specially designed for outstanding reliability and sturdiness. It is built on a monoblock steel frame and all shafts are mounted on ball bearings. It has an anti-return system, a spring loaded belt tightener and an adjustable clutch. The one-piece polyethylene hood can be opened from both sides. | ||||||||||||
| IDEAL wood gutter chutes have proven themselves over the years. They are made with bolted "tongue and groove" spruce beams. Sides are 1 1/4" (3 cm) thick on the return side and 2" (5 cm) thick by 12" (30 cm) high on the exterior loaded side. 16" (40 cm) high sides are also available. The 16" (40 cm) interior loaded side is made of 3/16" (4.5 cm) thick steel and it is folded at the base to support the heel of the chain. |  |

| IDEAL steel gutter chutes have a 15-year warranty. The loaded side is made of 3/16" (4.5 mm) steel. The sides are 16" (40 cm) high on the inside and 14" (35 cm) high on the outside. These highly resistant gutters increase strength, prevent manure from sticking to the sides and reduce maintenance to a minimum. | |||||||||||||
| The IDEAL chain withstands 50 000 lbs (22 680 kg) of strain! Made with "8" shaped links, it prevents torsion on the corner wheels. It can be adapted to all types of systems, even those with round corner wheels. Its 4" (10 cm) long bolted cramps (paddles) are shouldered in order to give extra strength to the total assembly. The 1/4" (6 mm) thick paddles are reinforced at the heel with an angle to obtain a 1 1/4" (3 cm) skidding surface. Carrying a 10-year warranty, the IDEAL "8" shaped chain is easy to lubricate, requires very little maintenance and stays straight during operation. |  |
